New Fuel Facility at Philadelphia International Airport

The project was for the construction of a new fuel facilities at the Philadelphia International Airport for the PHL Fuel Facilities, LLC (PFFL). Eagle Industrial Electric, Inc.’s scope of the new work included: Medium voltage utility service, medium voltage utility switch/fuses, service metering equipment, utility pad mount transformer, 1250kw diesel engine generator, 16’ x 61’ Power Distribution Center (PDC) to house transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), distribution panelboards; fuel management equipment. Installation & connection of control panels (Fuel System Control Panels, Truck Rack Control Cabinet, Emergency Fuel Shutoff Panels, and workstations, etc.). Installation & connection of field instrumentation and control equipment including emergency fuel shutoff stations, control pushbuttons, switches, load computers, overfill protection devices, ground verification devices, transmitters, etc. Site grounding and lightning protection systems. Site electrical racks, junction boxes, outlet boxes, and supports required for electrical systems. Site conduit, duct bank, manholes and cable tray inclusive of required seal-offs, fittings, supports, fasteners, and concrete. Site lighting. Conduit, wiring, lighting, receptacles, fire alarm, etc. for operations building, foam building, and sample shack. Site 7 building security surveillance & access control systems.
